Issue Position

I won't allow Arizona to fall into the trap of tax and spend policies, but I will demand fiscal responsibility by making sure we don't spend more than we take in. I will work to keep our state budget balanced, and make sure we live within our means. We must work closely with the federal government to ensure that federal demands and mandates are matched with reasonable spending levels. We must be honest about budget projections, and not use budgetary gimmicks, tricks, and half-truths.
